*Tips* .. '01 Porsche 996 3.4L
Was a perfect fit on my 2001 Porsche Carrera. Build quality was good. Only took about 15 minutes to replace. If you know how to use a screwdriver, you can replace your filter.Pro Tip: Leave your air flow sensor cable connected, there is plenty of slack in the cable to change the filter. This reduces the chance of damaging the connector or the pins on the sensor. Also ... while the filter is out , clean the air filter box inside with a damp microfiber towel to remove any dirt/dust/debris from housing. Microfiber towels don't leave any lint and pick up dirt well.

Exact, perfect fit and is probably the same brand filter the manufacturer installed when new. I attended a lecture given at the Porsche Club annual meet in 2016 and the tech said that good air filtration was critical to long life in these 996 motors. So, why not use what the Factory used when doing maintenance? Cheap insurance for your Porsche!

Fits 2002 911/996 Porsche
This fit a 2002 Porsche 911/996 C4 cab perfectly. Appears to be of good quality. The gasket is substantial. It’s nice to buy something sight unseen that just flat out works with no surprises. Will definitely consider buying again when the time comes.
