Better than I expected
I had tried designer underwear before from a few other Men's clothing companies with mixed results. They were always soft and form fitting, but sometimes bunched up in weird ways, didn't give enough freedom in important places, and I eventually went back to basic cotton boxer briefs. Lately I thought I'd try again with quality underwear and saw that Calvin Klein has a high rating. Looking through reviews there was a lot of praise, but I still wasn't sure how I would feel when I tried them on. I received them in the mail today and I was very surprised how light they were. I thought the box was empty! They were shorter than I expected, but then again maybe its because I was used to the longer style more common in cheaper pairs of underwear. I tried them on and immediately noticed a difference. They were very soft, with no chafing of any kind, form fitting, but not uncomfortably so like athletic compressions shorts (I was worried they would be similar, as most of these styles look like compression shorts in a way), and gave proper room and support in the crotch. I wore them around the rest of the day to my college classes and I have been very pleased. The shorter thigh length is different, but these don't seem to noticeably ride up my leg, and remain smooth and supportive. I'm very happy with my purchase and will probably buy more soon!

AUTHENTIC, but thin/low quality... THEY RIDE UP!
UPDATE: Nope Nope Nope. Not worth the price, even on sale. They are thin and not supportive. They ride up all day long and become uncomfortable. PASS ON THESE! These are 100% AUTHENTIC. I ordered two pairs from Nordstrom to compare, and they are identical. . Super Soft, and for the most part do not ride up. Only downside is that the material is VERY THIN. As a result, they are not as supportive as I would like. I do not expect these to last because of the thin material. Yes they are comfortable and soft, but I expect better quality when paying a premium price.

Unbelievably comfortable underwear
I normally wear boxer shorts, but decided to try the cotton version of these when I saw them on sale. I liked the fit of the underwear and when I decided to get a second pair, I opted for the micro modal trunks and I am very glad that I did. I agree with the other reviewers that these are probably the most comfortable pair of underwear that I have ever owned. The underwear fits and looks great. I travel a lot and I always wear a pair of the Micro Modal Trunks on the long haul flights. Plus the soft, light material air dries quickly which is a bonus if you have to do laundry on the road. However, I do have some gripes. The first pair of these underwear that I received started falling apart after the first wash. I used the gentle cycle and air dried the underwear, but the seams began to unravel. Kudos to Amazon for quickly replacing the defective pair. The other gripe that I have is that the Calvin Klein name which is printed on the waistband does not line up properly at the seam on the back of the underwear. Instead of reading "Calvin Klein" it reads "Calvin Cal inKlein". I know that this is trivial, but when you pay so much for a single pair of underwear and for the Calvin Klein name, you would expect them to get the logo correct. The quality issues prevent these from getting 5 stars. In summary, simply an amazingly comfortable pair of underwear. If it wasn't for the price, I would own only pairs of this underwear.

Poorly constructed, bad fit
I ordered 4 of these due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The only positive thing I've found about these is that they do flatter the figure (so to speak). Beyond that, they have been a complete disappointment. One pair literally started falling apart after the first hour of wearing it. The others are falling apart at a somewhat slower rate. But after two washes, it's clear they won't survive much longer. These underwear fit well at first when you put them on, but quickly stretch out causing them to ride up. It's just really poor design and construction. Of course it's taken me 40 days to figure all this out and now I cannot return them. That's a bitter pill to swallow. FWIW, I own about 20 pairs of the CK button-up boxer briefs and they are awesome. Great fit and construction. I never should have strayed.

I wouldn't dare complain
So I'm gonna start off with a bit of an intro to let you know what I'm comparing to in the first paragraph, skip to the second for straight talk about these boxers in particular. So I've been wearing boxer briefs for years now, mostly Hanes and Fruit of the Loom. They're awesome for me because I'm active, they provide better support than regular boxers but also much more comfortable than regular briefs. The Hanes and Fruit of the Loom wear out after about a year, they lose their shape, color, the waist band stretches, etc. So finally I was like "I'm gonna invest in some higher end ones and see why they cost so much." I found out they cost so much because they're awesome. First I got the Kenneth Cole ones (not the 100% cotton) and they felt like clouds, and were very comfortable with awesome support and room in the groin area. Wore them for 6 months with not a single complaint or change in them and decided to buy two more pairs, but different kinds. So I bought these, and a pair of Under Armour O's... These boxers are amazing. They feel great and have good support for the groin with ample room. I could totally justify the money spent on them because I can tell they're going to last me for a while. And I don't just mean last me as in "they'll do, I won't need to throw them away" but as in "they're gonna be just like new." I only wish I could buy a whole bunch more of these or my KC ones and replace all of my old boxers. In due time... The only complaint I have is the length, a longer inseam (for me at least) would have been nicer so they won't ride up as much. However, they barely bother me at all when that happens so it's no biggy.

-Very comfortable before they start to ride up
Overpriced and not worth it. Don't know why I bought more than 1 pair. Pros: -Very comfortable before they start to ride up. -Look great, also until they start to ride up and you look like an idiot. Cons: -They ride massively. -They last several months and then start to tear in the rear region. Happened with the 5 pairs I bought.

Looking for a light-weight, breathable trunk? Stop looking and buy these NOW!!!
These are *literally* the best underwear I have every owned. Once you wear them, the price will become insignificant. You'll be willing to pay 4x more. Trust me. 1. They're super light. If you don't like "feeling" your underwear under shorts or pants (like me), you will absolutely love these. It's almost like not wearing anything. 2. They keep you dry. Before, after a 15 minute walk in the summer heat, I would end up with a soaking wet pair of boxer briefs for the next hour. There are fewer things worse than finally cooling off but continuing to feel wet underwear, especially if you're at work or traveling. Not the case with these. I knew they were awesome but didn't fully appreciate until recently when I had to wear a pair of regular boxer briefs after skipping laundry day. That evening, I ordered three more pair and threw out my remaining previous brand. 3. They keep you "in place" without feeling it. The design of the stitching along with the material provide an area that will naturally "expand" to a perfect fit. I've never felt anything like it. If you like some "freedom" but don't like feeling "constrained", these will rock your world. 4. They keep their shape by not keeping a shape. Cotton trunks fit wonderful when you first put them on. After a few hours of sitting down and getting up, they lose their shape and stretch out to feel like boxers. In contrast, the elastic material in this item allows the shape to stretch and return as your body moves so that they always feel just as wonderful as they did the minute you put them on. That's basically it. These are pure perfection. It's like wearing nothing at all with the benefit of keeping everything in place and keeping you dry. It sounds like hyperbole, but these really are THE BEST underwear I've ever, ever had. Hope you find this review useful. Some additional tips: - I've tried both medium and large sizes. I have a full backend and muscular legs, so I generally fall somewhere in between. Because of #3 above, I've "standardized" with the large size. Because of the material, the large provides a perfect fit for me around the legs, the back, and the front because the material - I've tried both the trunks and the full boxer briefs. I immediately preferred the trunk because of #1.

Never going back to cheap underwear...
Like a lot of guys, I've never been the type of guy to shop around too much for clothes. I've been wearing "superstore" underwear all my life, and even though it's frequently been bothersome to wear any kind of underwear at all, I've never looked into something better. That has all changed now; this underwear has changed my life. I never knew that something could be so comfortable. I suppose I thought that I was never going to be completely comfortable and so I tried a few things and chose the lesser of the evils. But no more, I'm never going back to the cheap stuff. There are a couple of things to note about these; First of all, the "pouch" was small and seemed to be a little to high at first, but with a little wear, it conformed. Also, the size seems a bit off. I have a 36 inch waist, with a larger-than-average butt and legs, so I thought a large would be a perfect fit, if not a bit small. They turned out to be a bit large (not as tight as I would guess they are supposed to be). I ordered two pair, and one of the pair got a loose thread that ran on me the first day I got them, but I fixed it and they are fine now; the quality apart from that one defect is very good. I'm going to order a couple more pair (medium this time), and I expect the results to be perfect. - Update: I bought a couple pair of mediums and they are a much better fit. Updated the rating to 5*
