Raider 07-7118 Universal 90-Degree Turn Fuel Shut Off Valve - Fits 1/4" Line

Exactly what I needed. All metal construction and very well built. Much stronger and better than the original plastic shutoff that I replaced just a year ago. Those plastic valves are junk and started leaking within a year. This is a real shutoff! It's small and fits perfectly in the area of the old plastic valve.

I used this to add a fuel shutoff to a 1100 Virago. They do not come with one. It makes it easier to pull the tank now.

After using the plastic ones and having them leak, I tried this one. It is solid. I modified the vacuum fuel petcock on my dirt bike and needed an inline stuck off. It's already lasted longer than the plastic ones. Worth the investment.

Bought two of these...they look amazing and useful when it comes to 90° angles...solid metal....BUT cant shut nothing off at all..literally only shutted off my fuel 4 times. After those 4 times it was basically useless. Not worth the price at all...i just installed the 2nd one yesterday....i really should of threw it away but at the same time...the 1st one could've been defective. Never know right...but i still wont be surprised if it does the same thing and still wont depend on it at all. They killed the looks tho👍🏻

Finally, a high quality all metal, precision made fuel valve.This valve works well. It has a substantial, precision feel.The red handle can be unscrewed for a proper installation. The chrome finish is perfect, a good choice for a motorcycle where appearance is important.The 90 deg angle of the hose fitting allows it to fit in tight spaces very handy.Most other fuel valves are cheap plastic items that eventually break. This metal unit is much, much better, for less than $10 more than the cheap items. Well worth it!

Here is a great way to save your generator from being contaminated with old gas and creating starting problems. Turn off switch to empty carburetor float bowl and shut down generator. Keeps it dry and clean for storage instead of using factory switch that leaves gas in the float bowl to go bad and cause unit to clog up and not start when you need it most. You just need 6” of addition gas line to complete this valuable improvement.

For years I kept buying the black with red plastic gas shut offs, having every one of them leak.Tried different stores - still having them leak when on. Not in the off position.Would have saved a few bucks buying this one first.No more dripping gas while running the snowblower.
