Excellent value, reliable, and high quality CPU
The AMD Ryzen 5 5600 is excellent for the price and has been very reliable, I’ve had no problems with it for over a year. Installation was straightforward, and it came with a very good cooler that handles the CPU’s capacity well and keeps temperatures great. The CPU’s power consumption is low, staying under the 65W TDP, which is efficient and quiet. While it doesn’t have an integrated GPU, it performs exceptionally well in gaming and multitasking when paired with a dedicated graphics card. The build quality feels high end, and compatibility with my motherboard and other components was perfect. Overall, this CPU offers great performance, efficiency, and value. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable mid-range processor.

Amazing CPU for gaming
The perfect CPU for modern games on an AM4 platform. This one was paired with an Asus b450m-a II, 32gb DDR4 CL16 3200 RAM and an RTX 3060. It plays MMOs flawlessly. Using it with a single fan liquid cooler it idles at 28-29c and during games will sit at 35-45c. That will change depending on the game but it performs very well. Well worth the money for a low cost gaming rig with a low power draw and cooler temps compared to a CPU like the 5800x. This CPU does NOT have integrated graphics, GPU required.

amazing cpu
i love this cpu so much. upgraded from a ryzen 3 4100 to this cpu and the difference is VERY apparent. with 6 cores and 12 threads, its easier to multitask, boot times are faster, performance is amazing, and the stock cooler from the box is more than enough. 5/5

All Killer No Filler
Let’s just say it up front: if you’re building a mid-range gaming PC, a light workstation, or even a home lab test bench, the Ryzen 5 5600 is still one of the smartest buys you can make in 2025. This chip came out as a "budget refresh" under the 5600X, but guess what? It performs 95% as well for less money—and that’s a win in my book. I’ve used this in three different builds: A gaming rig with a 3060 Ti and 32GB RAM (runs everything at 1080p/1440p like butter) A micro-ATX NAS/media server combo A test bench I keep at the shop with a stripped-down Linux distro for container dev And across all of them? It’s stable, fast, and ridiculously power-efficient. The 6-core, 12-thread layout handles multitasking, gaming, streaming, compiling, and even light 3D rendering without breaking a sweat. Why It’s a Beast (for the price): Base 3.5GHz, boost up to 4.4GHz—plenty fast for any modern task Unlocked for overclocking (though most people won’t need to—it's already well-tuned) AM4 socket = drop-in upgrade for tons of older B450/B550/X570 motherboards Paired with a decent cooler (like that Thermalright Assassin 👀), it runs cool and quiet Works perfectly with budget DDR4—no need to jump to DDR5 yet What Could Be Better: Doesn’t include integrated graphics—so you’ll need a GPU, even just to boot Not future-proof for AM5/DDR5 platforms—but that’s why it’s priced like a legend Stock cooler is okay… but you’re gonna want to upgrade if you're pushing this chip TL;DR: The Ryzen 5 5600 is still one of AMD’s most balanced chips ever made. It’s affordable, reliable, snappy under pressure, and perfect for gamers and builders who care more about performance per dollar than flexing on Cinebench charts. If you're building smart—and not just shiny—this is your CPU.

Slightly incorrect Product Description, otherwise Great Buy!
Was missing the cooler but I had a spare Wraith from a different build. All other used 5600s were $40 more so I'm guessing that's why it was cheaper. Otherwise the packaging was great and there were no bent pins. Great value and great seller!

Powerful cpu
Great CPU with solid performance. It runs a bit warm, but nothing unmanageable with decent cooling. I currently have it paired with an AMD 9060, stock fan and the combo works amazingly. Handles gaming and multitasking smoothly with no noticeable bottlenecks. Definitely a reliable choice for a gaming build.
