After 1 month of daily use. The truth..
The media could not be loaded. If like me, you run at the sight of a dishcloth and find yourself wishing you were anywhere but cleaning the kitchen or bathroom, then you could be about to have a change of heart, thanks to this genius cleaning tool that is the Karcher KV 4 Vibrapad! Now, I don’t just look at a product and leave a review without testing it thoroughly like many reviews I read, and this review is no different. I have been using the KV 4 for nearly a month and my review is my honest opinion of the product.First of all, as with all things Karcher, this unit is simple to master and functionality is at the forefront with the user in mind. It’s very straightforward and feels a little like ironing or sanding. Two buttons to operate, one to power the unit on and one to prime the included pad with liquid from the 180ml tank. The sachet of window cleaning concentrate goes a long way once added to the tank. A full tank lasts for a good week or more for me. I have had no issues using my own existing cleaning products, such as window cleaning solution or multi surface antibacterial cleanser. The KV 4 removes even the most stubborn of grime from surfaces and agitates without force or a great deal of effort. The tool does the bulk of the work and effortlessly cleans throughout the home, from worktops, cupboards and tiles, to windows, mirrors and appliances or vehicles. It really is impressive! I simply carry a J-cloth around with me when using the unit to wipe away residue and streaks once it’s work is done. The unit takes 160 minutes or 2 hours 40 minutes in old money to charge from flat and gives 35 minutes of solid use on a full charge, which is more than enough as household chores that ordinarily take what feels like an age are a breeze and completed in a fraction of the time. I find myself enjoying using it and always find myself using it all around the home as it’s lightweight(0.5kg) and being cordless it’s incredibly versatile. As you may have seen in my short video, I am using my right hand to film and the left to operate the unit(I am right handed) and still found no difficulty manoeuvring it around various surfaces around the home.To store the unit, it should be stood upright to prevent any leakage from the underside and I find it best stored in its original box which keeps it nicely vertical. The pad is very easy to wash under running water with a touch of washing up liquid and can be wrung out once rinsed. While I am on the subject of the “pad” my only gripe with the KV 4 is that Karcher have been a little mean in only giving a solitary single pad with the unit which I understand is because they sell them separately, but I believe a couple more being included with the unit would have been favourable at this price point. That said, I have found that pads from my existing floor mop fit it quite nicely if needed..In summary, it’s a genuinely great piece of kit that makes for a much easier life, a cleaner home and frees up time for other things. It’s enjoyable to use and I’ve found this little KV 4 Vibrapad to be a godsend so I’d recommend it without hesitation as it’s simply that good and I couldn’t do without it..

Very basic unusual tool
This cordless wiper is really simple. It arrives in the box fully assembled- I.e. pad attached. It vibrates whilst self wetting the attached loofah style pad. It comes with a sachet of washing concentrate to add to the water section. The instructions are terrible and are just pictures. Charge this for 1.5 hours. To use this switch it on using the top left button which will make it vibrate. Use the top right button to dispense water onto the pad. That's it.What this doesn't do is heat up any liquid. It doesn't spray liquid. It also doesn't wipe or absorb any washing liquid you now have on your window or mirror so you will need a squeegee or cloth to finish. This seems very expensive for a machine that pulses and adds water/ wash to a surface sponge pad. It does exactly the same job as a wet loofah type sponge would do.

Cleans smooth surfaces with little effort
Coming in its traditional bright yellow colour, this Karcha Vibrapad is designed to clean flat smooth surfaces. It is light in the hand to use, and the handle has a dotted texture to help with the grip.It has a small sample of the cleaning unit included. The cleaning pad is held on by Velcro-style grip and it stays on for the duration of time I was using it.There are 2 buttons on the top of the unit, the left switches on the vibrate function and the right one turns on the water dispensing function - both buttons are easily reached when using it. The water is only dispensed in 10/15 second bursts, and there is no excess water dripping from the unit when using it.I used it on mirrors, walls and windows and just found it effortless to use. Even when the vibrating function was on, there is no discomfort with the hand that was holding it – no numbness when holding it.The best thing I found was when reaching high spaces, I didn’t need to get the step ladders out, but it would still clean there because it was vibrating and agitating any dirt.Overall, this will be great for cleaning windows, mirrors and any smooth surface. Another cleaning pad and more cleaning fluid would have been nice to have if it had been included.

Quite basic
The media could not be loaded. This is a cordless cleaner and is quite simple. On the positive side, it is light and easy to use. And does help with some cleaning. However, I'm not sure it's much better than cleaning that I could do by hand. That being said, if you struggle with your hands or strength when it comes to cleaning, I think this would be great for you and isn't so expensive as to be prohibitive. It comes in a small box, and is economically packaged. The instructions are not very detailed, but I found them useful and most of the use of this is intuitive. When it's washing, it vibrates and adds water to the surface. You will need to see your own soap or cleaning solution, otherwise it's just plain water. It does come with a small packet of cleaning solution that you can add on your first use, but this won't last very long. The device is easy and quick to charge, although with the size of it, it's not good for large cleaning jobs and is mostly suited to cleaning windows, mirrors and maybe tiles/small surfaces.

Good bit of kit
I have to be honest I ordered this as I like gadgets and anything that cuts down on hard work is a win in my book.Having previously owned Karcher products I thought I'd give this a try. I was a little sceptical if I'm honest but was very pleasantly surprised, which is always nice.I plugged it in and charged it, filled it with water and tried it on my bathroom tiles. I cannot believe how much dirt came off.I was a little worried about the vibration but it felt really comfortable to use and it isn't overly heavy. It comes with instructions and a small sachet of window cleaner.Nice item but a little pricey.
