So thankful I found these! My wife’s ‘04 Mini Cooper S blew the spark plug out of Cylinder 1 and I tried to use a standard rethread kit but that only lasted about 3 days and blew it out again! So, it was spend 2k on a new head (because she has the JCW version), or get these with the Big Sert Rethread kit. It’s been a couple months now and it seems to be holding strong! Hoping it lasts! I would recommend getting a small car vacuum and some small clear plastic tubing to vacuum out the metal shavings though. Be thorough! Also, leave the spark plug out and just bump the ignition a few times to try and blow out any residual shavings. Re-vacuum once more. Make sure to let it cure for a full 24 hours to be sure the thread lock is fully cured!

Easy to drill and install, but get a camera and shop vac to suck up shavings

Saved my 1999 Toyota 4Runner. Had a plug blow out 8 years ago, fixed with a HeliCoil and the HeliCoil failed.

If your spark plug shot out, don't but helicoil or fix a thread. They won't work, they'll shoot out again, believe me!! Worth the money! 18mm x 1.25
