EWO'S 5J.J7L05.001 W1070 Lamp Bulb for Benq W1070 W1080st HT1075 HT1085st Projector Replacement Lamp Bulb, with Housing

We have the BenQ W1070ST and are very happy with it's performance. Came time to replace the lamp and this one served it up well. Amazon shipped it out immediately, I had a tracking number in less than an hour which was very impressive. Received the lamp in 2 days and installed it which was very easy. I like the fact they tell you the performance of the lamp so we can measure the overall rating. So far so good and will definitely come back here for the next one. The lamp we ordered was a 5J.J7L05.001 which we looked up in the owners manual.

This worked just fine and the included instructions were very good. This was well made and included such things as an install screw which you might have lost when removing the old unit. I was surprised and pleased at how easy it was to replace the lamp. Another plus was the BenQ store web site said replacement lamps were out of stock and this was cheaper than the BenQ store.

Ordered the bulb in May. It installed super easy, just as the seller claimed. But, it's August 7th, and the bulb is fried. Just quit without warning! Was going to play some games last night, the picture began to turn weird colors and distort. I hit the off button on my remote and now it won't turn back on. Very disappointed Update 8/8/2018: well, these guys got back to me after just one day. Turns out the bulb was still covered under the 180 day premium warranty. They told me not to ship them the old bulb and a new bulb was on it's way. Now thats what I call service!!

Installation was quick, less than 5 mins, turned it on and worked good for 5 mins before the screen went off and temperature warning showed up, the lamp got too hot. 1 min later the projector was dead and wouldn't start (no power led) even after waiting for the lamp to cool down.

I have replaced my bulb assembly with this product and have probably 50-100 hours on the new bulb. Increase in brightness over the outgoing (pre-exploded) bulb was obvious. This is my second replacement bulb and this was a better and cheaper option than the last time I did this. The assembly fit perfectly into the W1070 and gave no issues at all. One star held back only due to the fact that longer term reliability is not yet known. So far a 5 star experience.

We were incredibly pleased to find this product on Amazon. Our prior bulb failed after we accidentally left it on for a week while we were on Vacay. That one was close to $300. This one was 1/3rd the price but an almost identical product when we inspected it. The install was pretty clean. You have to really pay attention to the details and take a moment to focus on it while you do it. You don't want to hose your $1000 projector with a $100 lamp. Really like this product. We were going to upgrade to a 4K projector when the last bulb died as the projector, a BenQ, was only $750. That being said now that we have a source for these affordable lamps, we are going to stick it out with this projector a wee bit longer.

This was the second time the bulb in my BenQ W1080ST had died and I knew that I should replace not just the bulb, but the housing around it this time. After a move cross-country, the projector had been knocked around a bit and the bulb was the main victim. Although I purchased a refurbished/returned bulb, I received everything I needed packed and cared for well (Cardboard box, Air packing, and bubble wrap). The package was very well taken care of for such a delicate item. Install was very simple. Simply remove one screw to unseat the lid of the projector, loosen one screw on the bulb housing, and pull it out by the handle. Reverse these steps with the new bulb and you're all set! The projector is nice and bright, providing an excellent picture once again. I am happy with the color reproduction. It doesn't seem that there are any issues at all. I'll definitely look here again the next time our bulb needs replacing.

Bought one of these a year ago, and it worked great! After 5500 hours of use though, when it was time for another, I got a lemon - image would come up then, after about a second, the projector would flicker in shades of grayscale and purple, then shut down with a red LAMP light warning. Replaced with the 5500 hour lamp, works fine. YMMV.

I bought this bulb 5 years ago and it just finally went, Use my projector 3 hours a day at minimum . Definitely was a Solid purchase back in 2021. Ill order another and see if it still stacks up. Great product

Having issues with this bulb in my Benq 1070 Bulb seems to operate hotter than other bulbs which is making my projectors fan speed on max. My projector will stay on for an hour or so then shut down due to overheating Didn’t have this issue with my other replacement bulb Will come back to this post with an update

Ordered this to replace the original bulb in my 1070 benq projector. Happy with the brightness and overall bulb quality.

Have had it for 11 months, Worked great, and died customer service got right back to me and is shipping replacement ;)

Each time that I turn on the projector I get a message that the bulb needs too be replaced. I just have to hit Enter and Everything works as it should.
