Thank you Tim for an incredible book. This should be required reading for any leader that wants to avoid the trap of the corrupting influence of power. When you read this book you will be challenged to work on your core. Just as physical training should always include strengthening the core, leadership development must include core exercises. Consider this a guide for how to do crunches and planks to strengthen yourself as a leader.

Am using for post grad management study. An easy to read reinforced message on ethical leadership with plenty of example on how to act based on your belief system and how to positively grow those beliefs. It discuses the place of self examination, humility and feedback.

Tremendous book. An easy read that provides great insight into what constitutes great leadership. Author contributes one’s CORE to being the foundation of great and influential leadership. Packed with practical information that is very applicable to daily leadership. The use of personal stories adds a nice touch and really drives home many of the points made in the book. Highly recommend!

Tim Irwin gets right to the heart of what it takes to make a real and positive difference as a leader. I really liked this book. While it may seem like "some" need this while "I" don't is a terrible misconception. We all need to be reminded that it is the dark places that must be recognized and dealt with.

A very solid premise in his "Core values", which if not followed may end in a personal and corporate disaster.

Tim Irwin has found the key to success and failure-it's found in our core. What do we really believe about ourselves, others and that crazy place we work? Understanding your core and keeping bad stuff out and putting good stuff in will guide you toward great leadership. Please read this book!

I purchased this book for my boss, who is the leader of all of our companies and entities. He has not seen it yet, but I read most of it, and it was well written and makes a lot of good leadership recommendations.

"Impact" by Dr. Tim will really will make an 'impact' in you and guide you to find yourself, your struggles as a leader.
